This black and white printing workshop is a hands on introduction to traditional darkroom printing. All materials are provided, including photographic paper, chemistry, enlarger, so you can focus entirely on shaping your images.
Working from your own 35mm negatives, you will learn how to translate a strip of film into a finely resolved print. We will explore core techniques such as exposure control and contrast filtration.
By the end of the session, you will leave with a set of hand printed photographs and a practical understanding of the darkroom workflow. After this workshop you will then be able to book the darkroom out for your own use!
Please note our darkroom is very small so this workshop will have a maximum of two participants.
