A Creative Writing Workshop for Winter Ghost Stories

Join Bryony for a cosy, atmospheric creative writing workshop that invites you to step into the old tradition of telling ghost stories at Christmastime. As the evenings draw in and the air fills with the scent of something warm and mulled, we’ll gather together to explore the spirits of Christmas.
Through a series of guided writing exercises, we’ll ease into the ghostly mood, summoning characters, building tension, and experimenting with what can haunt. You’ll then have dedicated time to plan and plot your own winter tale: a story to share by firelight, offer to friends and family, or simply keep for yourself as a seasonal ritual.
This one is for those that love folklore, eerie tales, or the quiet magic of dark December. Bryony offers a warm, welcoming space to write something deliciously chilling.
No previous writing experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to explore.
