Lore of the Land Creative Writing Workshop

Saturday 21st November

1-3pm

Join me, artist and writer Bryony Good for a creative writing workshop exploring landscape, folklore and our relationship with the places we inhabit. Drawing on her practice working with photography and writing, and her interest in the uncanny, Bryony will guide you through prompts that weave together observation, memory and imagination.

The workshop accompanies Bryony’s exhibition You Made Me, showing that month, which explores her relationship with the land through her family and experiences growing up. Together, you’ll consider how places hold our personal histories, how stories pass between generations, and how the landscapes of childhood shape who we become.

From familiar paths to half forgotten tales, you’ll explore how everyday surroundings can become starting points for writing, giving space to overlooked details, personal associations and the strange within the ordinary.

No experience necessary.
