Come gather round, for Bryony’s annual uncanny writing workshop. It’s the perfect time of year to take a closer look at the uncanny, that uneasy feeling that enchants us all.
We will look at what makes something uncanny, explore examples of perfectly uncanny writing as well as a range of other art forms in order to examine how best we can capture it ourselves. Bryony will lead you through a number of different writing exercises using interesting and creepy prompts - think spectral sounds and scratched out photographs.
No previous writing experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to explore.
